School Age Facilitator


Job Description

This position plans, implements and participates in the development of programs to enhance the children’s overall development and provide a safe and healthy before and after school experience in accordance with OCCC philosophies, legislative requirements and How Does Learning Happen?    Regular and ongoing communication and consultation with the Leadership Team, co-workers and families is required.  It is expected that all staff demonstrate CARE (Creative solutions, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence), and be pleasant, tactful, discreet and professional at all times.

This position is a split shift position with hours from 7:30am to school start and from school end to 5:30pm.  Additional hours may be available on an as-needed basis.

The position is located at Zorra Highland Public School until Dec 22, 2017 and then moves to a different school location for January to June 2018.

Education RequirementSecondary School Diploma Experience Requirement

Experience with children aged 4 to 12 is an asset.  New graduates are welcome to apply!

Salary Details

Registered Early Childhood Educators start at $18.16/hour.  

Other qualifications/unqualified start at $16.32/hour.

This position receives an additional subsidy of $2/hr for eligible hours worked.
